Psychopath Free: Recovering from Emotionally Abusive Relationships With Narcissists, Sociopaths, and Other Toxic People – by Jackson MacKenzie
This is the first book I picked up after my narcissistic discard. It’s packed with so much information and tips to go from surviving to thriving. I highly recommend it because it provides the validation you need at this point.
I’d like to note that the abusive behaviors covered in this book will most certainly resonate with those of narcissistic abusers. However, because the title of the book is “Psychopath Free” many survivors mistakenly concluded the abuser in their life is also was a psychopath. In the book, the author clearly states that he uses “Psychopath” as a blanket term for all anti-social personality disorders.
Besides, whether a narcissist, sociopath, psychopath, or a full-blown jerk, an abuser is an ABUSER regardless of which name they go by.
